San Antonio, TX, May 21, 2010 – New York Giant’s starting cornerback, Aaron Ross and BTL Sports will host a weekend football and cheer clinic as a part of the second annual Bring It Home Charity Celebrity Weekend. This three-day event will be held June 17-19, 2010 and will feature a variety of family-oriented activities. Camp proceeds will benefit: the Davis Scott YMCA, Sanya Fast Track Program, San Antonio Kids Exchange, the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, and Champions of Valor.

The football and cheer camps are open to boys and girls ages 5 to 18, and will focus on promoting athletic and academic excellence. Ross will be on site to lead the camp activities and provide hands on training and instruction. Camp curriculum will cover the core essentials: building self-esteem, living a healthy lifestyle, excelling academically and positive sportsmanship. “I am looking forward to interacting with the youth and sharing with them the fundamentals of living and playing healthy,” said Ross. “Even bigger than my love for football is the opportunity to give back, and I hope that will be a memorable experience for the attending youth.”

The camps will also feature a selection of other NFL players and other nationally recognized celebrities to help ensure that every camper gets personalized instruction and a memorable experience. In addition to the camps, there will also be a celebrity basketball game with the local fire department playing against NBA and NFL superstars, a celebrity meet-and-greet dinner and a silent auction.

“We were thrilled with the positive support and excellent turn out from last year’s event and we are honored to be able to host this event for a second time,” said Larry Williams, BTL Sports Founder and CEO. “Our goal with these camps is to let all youth know that no matter what their circumstances are, they can achieve their goals with positive attitudes, hard work, and dedication.”

In addition to over 12 hours of football and cheer, all campers will receive a camp T-shirt, a camp backpack lunch provided by Chic-fil-A and the opportunity to win additional prizes. The cost of the camp is $75. Registration is underway and those who sign up by June 4 will receive a $10 discount.
